Adda is the beautiful damsel whose secret will one day enable her to rule Babylon from behind the throne. Her character is based on the historical figure Adda-Guppi, a powerful woman in a male-dominated world whose name is literally etched in stone.

She is fierce and determined, as she tries to get to the king who fathered her child. The determined Adda will not be put down as she vows to put her son on the throne one day. We also see her feminine and matronly traits. We see her charms in full bloom as she captivates Daniel with her grace and beauty. With Daniel, she is flirty. She understands her power over men. But she doesn’t abuse it, and rather, one gets the sense that she has found a friend in Daniel.

Adda’s combined strengths and weaknesses form a solid characterization, free of the usual clichés. Her compelling and powerful nature make us want to know more about her and anticipate with relish the next time she comes into Daniel’s life.

“The Exile” is a three-part film project based on the book of Daniel and the events surrounding remnant Israel’s seventy year exile in Babylon. Following in the tradition of Ben-Hur, this biblical epic fuses together the sub-genres to which “The Passion of the Christ” and “Gladiator” belong. The story carries the gospel message from a unique perspective, the events within it occurring hundreds of years before Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection.
